The University of Ghana and the Department of Dietetics are dedicated to supporting every student's academic success. To ensure students meet the program's educational standards, the University provides comprehensive resources and support services. The Head of Department, Academic advisor, faculty members and clinical preceptors work collaboratively to identify and assist students facing challenges, providing personalized guidance and support to foster academic excellence and timely program completion.
Students who receive unsatisfactory performance evaluations during or at the end of a semester will be mandated to confer with the Department Head and Course Advisor to discuss remediation strategies. Remediation plans may encompass a range of supportive measures, including counseling, additional assessments (tests, exercises, assignments), supplementary coursework and re-examinations.
To progress and graduate, students must successfully pass all required courses. This comprehensive support system ensures students receive targeted guidance to overcome academic challenges and achieve degree requirements.
